In a well hidden European suburb, a few hours from Rome, vampires, weres and humans live as one. There has been a history of violence between the races and species yet somehow they managed to find peace among one another.
Well... that was until two young Strigoicia twins were crowned as the 'Queens' of the Strigoi Vîi. With a pair of vain beauties at the head of an elite race conflicts and jealousy has risen to the surface, turning the vampire races against one another. The Delano wish to overthrow the Strigoi from 'leadership' of Investi, while the Dhampir's scheme against their vampiric parents who birthed them into a life of slavery. The San Giovanni have their own twisted schemes to open the portal to the dead and living to wreak havoc on the city.
Lets not forget the Were's, the Timbertengu who are trying to protect the humans from the vampire rivalry while trying to keep out of the vampires way, the Canis Lycaon who are just trying to fit into human society since being thrust from animalism to humainity, the Terres Ovon who are the eyes and ears of the city, and last but definitely not least, the Vulpes Velox, the intelligent mischief-makers.
And then there are the humans, split up by their devotion for either the vampires, the were's or their own kind. The Followers of the Moon are Investi's peace-keepers who attempt to restore the balance between the species.
